The delivery to Båtsfjord in Norway in collaboration with Bunker Oil AS is a great example of how the core of our products, tanks, and concept development combined with visual appeal can create distinctive fuel stations.

The delivery includes a 2-compartment vertical diesel tank, AdBlue tank, and a separate small 15 m³ insulated above-ground gasoline tank with a small canopy. Additionally, the station features the WASP Power & Filtration Solutions filtration system, ensuring the quality of diesel fuel.

WASP Power & Filtration Solutions has received support from the European Regional Development Fund for the filtration system project.

U-Cont Ltd., the filtration system provider, is able to offer its customers increased “intelligence around the tank,” providing added value and delivering comprehensive solutions for fuel storage. This supports customer maintenance and operational reliability.

While our main focus is on turnkey modules, this project demonstrates that we also have extensive experience in concept design and various solutions.

The first WASP filtration system has now been installed at a distribution station destined for Norway. The filtration system occupies minimal space while significantly enhancing fuel quality by removing water, sediments, and other impurities, thereby reducing corrosion and extending the equipment’s lifespan.

Hello! Lauri Miettinen, originally from Kuopio and I’m excited to introduce myself as a new member of this remarkable U-Cont team. I started as sales manager of filtration systems in February. I enjoy working with people, and I have found my professional home in the field of sales. My educational background is centered around customer relations, sales, and international business. My free time is spent on sports, such as working out at the gym or running after a ball. Hunting, fishing, as well as exploring different cultures and especially food cultures, are also close to my heart.

This year we have donated the money reserved for Christmas greetings to the Unicef ​​children’s fund, which helps children all over the world.

On 10 November 2022, U-Cont Oy has signed a resale agreement with the English company WASP PFS Ltd. We operate as an importer and seller of WASP PFS Ltd filter equipment in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Poland. With the help of filtration equipment, we will be able to offer complete solutions and operational reliability for our customers’ fuel storage in the future.

During the rest of the year, we will strengthen our team and we will announce more at the beginning of 2023.
