U-Cont was a partner in the development of the Uno-X Light concept from the beginning. As a result of the development work, the customer saves about 30% of the costs for each completed job as compared to the previous one, and the sales of the fuel chain in the chain have exceeded expectations
In the summer of 2012, Kevitsa Mining Oy's mining distribution system was installed, and safety was key in its development work. A high level of safety was ensured, for example, with stone protection, fire protection and double-shell and insulated HFB tank construction. In addition, the system was built to be moved.
In addition to visually breathtaking looks, the result of the development work was the creation of very safe, user-friendly and cost-effective distribution stations. Cost-effectiveness is ensured, amongst other things, by minimized earthwork, thermal stabilization and low cost and safe maintenance. Distributing stations are fire-proof and shock-proof. Truck stations are delivered with both vertical and horizontal tanks.
U-Cont is a partner of the Norwegian Uno-X Hydrogen in hydrogen discharge solutions. The first co-operative hydrogen distribution unit was opened in Norway in 2016. U-Cont is currently responsible for partnering in conceptual and product development, linking hydrogen technology to traditional fuels distribution, piping and canopy solutions.
Bunker Oil's distribution station in Kristiansund, Norway, represents a very modern approach to distribution stability and its technical solutions. Pipes from the tank have been drawn to the meters from the canopy, minimizing earthwork and, for example, the risks caused by fires. In addition, the condition of the pipes is easy to control and maintenance is safe and handy. The canopy is rounded from one end and the other is secured to the tanks, giving the station a unique look. The two-compartment vertical container has a combined volume of 100 m³. The system includes a third smaller AdBlue tank
In summer 2013, U-Cont delivered one of Finland's largest distribution stations to Oulu, renewed in Limingantullin Prisma, under the order of Osuuskauppa Arina. The canopy of the distribution station is the largest area ever made and it has special design. Prisma's traffic is guided from the center of the canopy and the distribution fields, each with three islands, are located at the ends of a boomerang-shaped canopy.
Nowadays, Norway's Mo i Ranas AdContain, which operates in the name of YX, was completed by the end of 2012. This heavy duty refueling station has been implemented with a vertical tank with gullwings. The logger's doors can be lowered, for example, during a storm. AdContain's basic features include special durability, easy service, safety, visual appeal and significant cost savings.

Kemi's mining project in 2010 was U-Contin's first mining filling station project. The project made a challenging ground-based tank below which the refueling points were placed: the refueling points are located at depths of 350 and 500 meters. The system is fully automated and the security arrangements in this project were particularly strict. Despite the stringent requirements, the entirety became functional and cost-effective.
The Bedzin, built in 2004 on the motorway 1, is one of seven service stations built for the Slovnaft chain in Poland. The station has four miter sails and has a capacity of 120 m3. Bedzin's position has been set up as a metal support specially designed for large canopies. One of the chain stations had to make an exceptional foundation to protect the gas station from the micro movement of the earth due to the damage caused by mining to the soil. Slovnaft then sold its fuel chain to the Lotos chain
This distribution station was built in 2010 in Korpilahti harbor. Due to the water level in the soil, the station was carried out with tank half on the ground. Half of the terrestrial tank is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution as it significantly shortens the underground pipelines and the filling site becomes easier to observe. Additionally, this allows direct access to the tank top. Environmental protection was particularly prominent in the project, because when it comes to nature, fuel can permanently damage sensitive lake habitats
St. Petersburg's Shell was one of our first Russian Shells. The project was implemented as U-Cont station. The choice was largely influenced by St. Petersburg's famous soil: the small space requirement and the shortest possible pipelines in the ground-based land have significant cost and security benefits.
Kostrzyn is the first U-Contin Polish subsidiary to provide a large four-meter and 100 m3 capacity distribution station. The station is located in western Poland close to the German border. The station was installed in the spring of 2004 in severe weather conditions and the proximity of the river Odra added to the project its own challenge. The station was one of Poland's first, whose meters can be fueled with both calor gas and conventional fuels.
The ABC-Juva is a compact, highly-designed sales unit for a small area with three fuel rods and one water-air island in the 10 × 30 meter area. Environmental risks are minimized by short pipelines and fully twin-flanged structures. However, this large entity was also advantageous due to the reasonably small construction and surface area needs.
Neste Ruka is a good example of a miniature mini-station: a small roof was used and only a 30 m3 tank to minimize costs. The station was implemented with the U-Cont solution to reduce installation time and space requirement.
Oravi's filling station is a good example of a small boat station. The station is located at the port of Oravi in Savonlinna and it has a two compartment tank with a total volume 30 m3. The meter is located about 15 meters from the beach. The refueling pipes are 20 meters long, allowing for smooth refueling even when boats are moving.
Esso Hirvaskangas was originally designed for transferring and if needed, split into two different positions from a few years to a new location. Today, these U-Cont elements serve on the same site, but at a different location in ABC Hirvaskangas.
HFB tanks are delivered to Savon Voima in size ranges from 30m3 to 100 m3. There are hundreds of heavy oil tanks manufactured in Finland in the 1970s and 1980s, which have reached their end of life. HFB series tanks made for Savon Voima Oyj are the answer to this need.
U-Cont has delivered underground tanks to sprinkler water tanks. These containers can for example, be placed under the parking which is requiring large amounts of water in the sprinkler system. The example below shows an example of a sprinkler tank project where a total capacity of 300 m3 single-coil sprinkler tanks was delivered to Motonet in Tornio.
During its history U-Cont has produced a wide range of silos. The last major silage delivery was made to Fazer during 2016. For Oy Karl Fazer Ab, 30 silos were produced, in the size range of 14.5 m3 to 78 m3. Silo delivery is part of the extension of the oat mill.
During its history, U-Cont Oy has supplied hundreds of containerized tanks with Russia as the main market. If necessary, there is also the possibility of containers with sea container design, making it easier and cheaper to transport them internationally.
